NSRI Station

The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) is a voluntary non-profit organisation in South Africa tasked with saving lives on South African waters. It consists of 30 coastal stations and 3 inland stations serviced by over 940 volunteers equipped with 92 rescue craft and 27 vehicles.

Station 21 is located at the Port St Francis Harbor and was one of the busiest Sea Rescue Stations on the SA coast line due to the Chokka industry, hence the opening of a station in Jeffreys Bay and Oyster Bay. Their base is a state of the art rescue station at Port St Francis.
